Rationale

Children thrive when families and educators work collaboratively. Respecting family input builds trust, strengthens communication, and ensures culturally responsive practices that support the whole child.

Example of Standard 2

While I held family conferences to discuss their child's progress, I invited the families to share cultural traditions during a school "All Around the World" event.
